The British Virgin Islands, which are part of a volcanic archipelago in the Caribbean, are British overseas territory. Covering 4 main islands and many smaller ones, the territory is known for its beaches full of reefs and as a destination for sailing. On the largest island, Tortola, are the capital Road Town and Sage Mountain National Park. On Virgin Gorda Island are the Baths, a maze of rocks by the beach.
