Concept

The Magallanes Region is still an inhospitable and wild place, offering hundreds of channels, calfs and fjords to explore.

The sea of ​​the Chilean Patagonia and Horn enchants, is angry and passionate, but never disappoint.

Navigating the high latitudes makes us bump into the limits of the forces of nature and respect them.

And the only thing the sea requires is patience, courage and a certain humility.

 

goal

Give crew members autonomy and security through technical knowledge and navigation practice in high latitudes for a whole year, experiencing the 4 seasons.

Horn Circuit

Location: Islas Navarrino, Lenoux and Cabo Horn, issued by the Chilean Navy.

Navigation features: only daytime navigation, imposed by the Chilean Navy to avoid finding ice at night.

Distance traveled: approx. 250 nautical miles.

Period: 8 days

Due to the logistics of transport to arrive in the region, the embarkations and disembarkations will be: Monday.

To make the reservation 50% of the total amount (transfer or deposit). The remaining 50% balance payable on boarding in CASH.

 

Included: Food on board, water, soft drinks and juices. Fuel (gasoline and diesel) energy and stay at the Marina.

Not Included: Land, ship or air transfer, immigration fees if any, alcoholic drinks and towels.

Attention: All departures are subject to favorable weather forecast.

The Chilean Navy will provide a Cape Horn Circumnavigation Certificate for participants in the Horn Circuits.

what to bring: (remember that we have little space on board: an average backpack per person)

-polar clothes (second skin and third), weather clothes, gloves, hats and waterproof boots;

-photographic or personal location equipment (if any);

-medicines of usual use;

-Sleep bag and or polar cover;

- bath towel and face;

* Remember that the temperature in the summer is 5 to 8 degrees Celsius, but there may be days of temperature close to zero.
